Ok ok well its been a bit of a busy weekend for various members of the missing link staff.. first off was the DEATH DISCO on friday night DJ'ed by both pete and bek at ding dong bar, and although i did not attend (too tired after being worked into the ground by pete!!) i hear it was quite a good night.
Saturday saw both pete's and mine bands (mr hyde and the jeckyles and the set up respectivly) play at the good morning captain. The show was well atended by local scensters and the house was well and truly rocked.

As you all may or may not have heard the store is going to be moving im the VERY near future and although ive been a total slack ass and havnt been up there to see the new store i here its the bomb!!!! With a small stage and all,that will undoubtfully will be used mainly by pete to do his spoken word readings/poetry recitals.... i know i for one cant wait for that!!

ahhhhhhhh ok ok ok so here we go with my first (well second really) load of crap that im going to try and pass off as work related information.
Its been a crazy few weeks as you can imagine being the new kid on the block and all and ive been busy trying to figure out all the ins and outs of the store.The rest of the staff have been a great help ("your doing it right if we are not yelling at you"),although i still have my moments of compleate confusion.... so dont be concerned if you come in and see me standing there with a dazed look on my face...
As usual there hase been a load of great records coming through our doors over the last few weeks.The PAGE 99 SINGLES cd is hight on my list of current favs as well as the MR HYDE AND THE JECKYLS disc (dont let the photo inside scare you kids!!).. They have a bunch of shows coming up over the next couple of months before their complaning english guitar "player" gets booted out of the country so keep your eye out for them (i hear there going to be invading adelaide with some band called THE SET UP soon as well)
Oh and im sorry but im going to have to plug the "Please Inform The Captain This Is A Hijack" lp..this record is totally amazing...YOU NEED THIS!!! TRUST ME!!!!.
