Killer New Japanese Pressing CD's in !

We've just put out some totally mad Japanese Issue CD's to the shop, many of which we just got a small handful of. As anyone knows who has picked up some music from us before which has been issued in Japan, you know to expect Deluxe packaging & (usually) extra tracks etc... Some of these are Brand New Releases, others are red hot Back Catalogue Dig it ! We got: a Envy / Jesu split EP, Torche 'Meanderthal',Xasthur, Lustmord, Isis 'Holy Tears' with DVD, Khanate, Harvey Milk, Daughters, Pentemple, and last but very not least...FIVE wild Boris titles, including 'Smile' with the padded yellow outer wrap (which we didn't think we'd see again),and a spesh looking version of 'Rock Dream' (which we've never had before). Being what they are, the majority of these are priced between $35-55 on average, but you are getting a premium release, issued with care and true attention to detail which make for mighty fine discography additions to your collection.

DIARY OF A PUNK

The whole sordid story of Mr Mike Hudsons time as Pagans founder / songwriter, the years leading into and out of. Hudson is a great writer and the Pagans story is not hard to sell, as the covers byline 'Life And Death In The Pagans' will tell ya. Great stuff. "In this brutally frank memoir of his years in and out of the Pagans, singer Mike Hudson has written a shocking and sometimes disturbing account of a life lived outside of society's boundaries." Thanks, blurb. We have a few copies of this excellent booked signed in Mike Hudson's BLOOD (or w/ pen ink, whatever you prefer).

Books for reading

The last week has seen a huge influx of new/er books which we'd suggest should be used primarily for the purpose of reading. For the knuckledraggers and heavy set brows, we'd heartily recommend 'Evolution Of A Cro Mag' by John Joseph, documenting his shady life and tales of woe. For the rockist, Mr. J Carducci's immortal tome 'Rock & The Pop Narcotic' has been given a third edition, thick enough to beat someone in a police questioning and full of great ranting / raving about the good stuff. For the more intellectual reader, 'Secret Agent 666' documents A Crowley's sinister involvement with British Intelligence during the 1940's. If you long for the days of hairspray and spandex, 'American Hair Metal' will tickle your fancy - conversely, if this disgusts you and you long for great big boots, great long laces, jeans held up by scarlet braces (etc.), Gavin Watson's photodocumentary of early skinheads 'Skinhead' will keep you amused while chugging bovril and stickin' fruitgum in the meter. Believe us, we've got a whole stack of other new books... come check them out!
